Drone Winners Announced at 2025 Technology Olympiad

Tehran, Iran – On October 30, the final day of the 2025 Technology Olympiad at the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), Mohammad Razavifard, head of the drone competition division, announced the winning teams across multiple categories after four days of intense contests.

The second edition of the Olympiad’s drone competitions featured student teams competing in four categories: Intelligent Flight, Flight Algorithm Simulation, FPV Piloting, and Drone Battle.

In the piloting category, the top five teams were “Shahid Hadi,” “Aerobics,” “Skylink,” “Deuterium,” and “Horizon USA.” Three of these teams shared third place, while the remaining two secured first and second positions respectively.

In the exhibition flight category, “Fanavaran Parvaz” was named best team, and in the group flight simulation category, “Barsavosh” took the top honor.

Organizers noted that the diversity of challenges — from high-precision piloting to advanced simulation — highlighted the technical innovation and competitive spirit on display at IIID.
