Iran Health 2025 a Platform to Identify Local Capabilities, Says Health Advisor

Tehran, Iran - The Senior Advisor to Iran’s Minister of Health highlighted the 26th Iran Health Exhibition as a key opportunity to recognize and promote indigenous health tech capabilities.
On June 8, 2025, Dr. Ali Jafarian, Senior Advisor and Deputy to the Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, visited the 26th Iran Health Exhibition at the Tehran International Exhibition Center on its second day. During his tour of the latest technological advancements and knowledge-based products in medical equipment, he engaged with key industry figures to discuss collaboration and export-driven growth in the sector.
Dr. Jafarian held strategic meetings with Dr. Mehdi Safari-Nia, President of Pardis Technology Park (PTP), Ahmad Moslemi, President of the Iranian Association of Medical Equipment Specialists, and Mohammad Amin Khaleghian, Secretary of the 26th Iran Health Exhibition. Their discussions focused on strengthening ties between health policy-making bodies and Iran’s Innovation Ecosystem, supporting innovative companies, and building export infrastructure for medical equipment products.
Khaleghian presented a report on the Exclusive Pavilion for Iranian Elites Returned to the Country, noting the participation of 18 companies and expressing hope for increased numbers in future editions. Dr. Jafarian underscored the importance of deeper engagement with technological elites, viewing this approach as critical to commercializing national achievements.
He emphasized the significant potential of knowledge-based companies in health, stating that exhibitions like Iran Health provide opportunities to identify Domestic Capabilities, establish effective collaboration networks, and pave the way for technology commercialization at both national and international levels. His interactions with key players in technology and medical equipment reflect the Ministry of Health’s commitment to integrating health policy with local scientific and technological strengths. The exhibition runs until June 10, 2025.
