Tehran, Iran – More than 60 journalists, photographers, and videographers from 35 domestic and international media teams gathered at the Iran International Innovation District (IIID) on October 30 to cover the second edition of the Technology Olympiad, creating broad global visibility for this major science and technology event.

Prominent global agencies such as Xinhua (China), Agence France-Presse, Russia Today, UniNews (Lebanon), and Iraq’s Al-Iraqiya and Al-Rabaa networks joined the coverage alongside Italy’s leading photo agencies. The IIID hosted on-site reporting across six main competition tracks, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, programming, and combat robotics.

The collective output of these media teams — through reports, interviews, and imagery — has circulated widely on international networks, presenting a fresh portrayal of Iran’s technological capabilities and youthful innovation. Organizers noted that this level of attendance makes the 2025 Technology Olympiad one of the country’s most globally engaged scientific events to date.

From rapid-fire AI algorithms to high-intensity robot battles, the Olympiad’s diverse challenges have not only demonstrated Iran’s technical progress but also attracted the attention of audiences worldwide.
