Tehran, Iran – The final round of the front-end programming track at the 2025 Technology Olympiad was held on October 29, featuring over 120 elite participants from an initial pool of more than 1,100 registrants. The top three teams will be announced at the closing ceremony.

Project manager Mehdi Kardbacheh explained that registration for the competition began in May, followed by online training courses and a qualifying exam. Eighty teams advanced to the finals after rigorous evaluation. Pre-final webinars prepared participants for strategic and technical aspects of the contest.

The final was conducted online through an automated judging platform that provided real-time scoring based on code and output accuracy, with anti-cheating measures prohibiting unauthorized resources or tools. The primary goal was to assess the competitors’ true ability in solving algorithmic problems and designing functional software structures.

The programming challenge is part of a broader competition featuring three main tracks: algorithms, back-end, and front-end programming. Kardbacheh emphasized that participation this year exceeded prior editions and the technical quality of contestants had significantly improved, fostering engineering skill development and entrepreneurship among young innovators.
