RO-RO startup researchers have indigenized industrial scooters which are used in public places to reduce air pollution.

Speaking to Mehr News Agency, Head of RO-RO startup Siavash Azizi said: We are trying to produce bikes and scooters.

To make these scooters, we used electronics to make plans for positioning, batteries, trackers, etc, he added.

Elaborating on the mass production of these scooters, he said in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and software design, connection to the system, coding, and programming, we have taken steps to produce and use these scooters.

He added that 20 scooters have been produced and used in Tehran parks with the coordination of municipalities.

He noted that people have welcomed using these scooters in public places and parks.

Regarding the difference between electric and normal scooters, he said electronic scooters are designed for industrial purposes and have a high price, so it is not economical for an individual to buy them.

This scooter has strong batteries that can be used for 8-9 hours without charging, Azizi stated.
