Closing Ceremony of Tech Olympics 2024 Held in Iran International Innovation District
Closing ceremony of Tech Olympics 2024 was held in the presence of Iran’s Vice-President Mohammad Reza Aref in Iran International Innovation District.
Deputy President for Scientific, Technological and Knowledge-based Economy Affairs Hossein Afshin, President of Pardis Technology Park Mahdi Saffarinia and some other officials also attended the event.
Addressing the event, Aref said that the government is doing its best for developing technology,
He added that the vice presidency for Scientific, Technological and Knowledge-based Economy Affairs has the mission to identify the obstacles to the growth of technology in the country and define the solution to overcome these roadblocks with the cooperation of elites, youth and teenagers.
Meanwhile, Afshin stressed creating innovation to form an ecosystem of innovation.
He noted that Tech Olympics 2024 is trying to create a definition in six areas of emerging technologies.
Unlike the sports events, in the technology Olympiads, the student’s aim is to turn the idea into work and technology.
In the meantime, Saffarinia said: In order to develop Pardis Technology Park and increase its international level, the decision to upgrade the park and create Iran International Innovation District has been approved by the government cabinet.
