IIID and IDRO Explore Collaboration to Advance Iran’s Innovation Ecosystem

Mohsen Darabi, Deputy for Advanced Industries at the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO), visited the Iran International Innovation District and met with the Deputy Director for Innovation Development at Pardis Technology Park to outline plans for strengthening cooperation between knowledge-based companies and national industries.

Accompanied by several senior deputies, Mohsen Darabi toured the Iran International Innovation District to review the achievements and operations of its member companies.

During the visit, Mojtaba Jabaripour, Deputy Director for Innovation Development at Pardis Technology Park, highlighted initiatives aimed at connecting the district’s capabilities with industrial needs.

Darabi emphasized IDRO’s strong industrial background and expertise in identifying technological requirements, noting that the organization can bridge the gap between knowledge-based companies and industrial entities to address these needs. He stated that IDRO aims to accelerate the growth of indigenous technologies and empower knowledge-based companies in line with industry demands through its “Technology Penetration in Industry” program, in which the Iran International Innovation District can play a key role.

He described such visits as a means to lay the groundwork for joint cooperation, drive institutional synergy, and support technology companies in accelerating their growth.
