IIID Managers' Gathering Focuses on Renewable Energy Cooperation

At the 9th gathering of managers from the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), the Vice Minister of Energy and Head of SATBA announced the organization's readiness to collaborate with IIID companies to develop clean energy infrastructure, including solar power plants.

Mohsen Tarztalab, the Vice Minister of Energy and Head of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA), addressed the electricity sector's supply-demand imbalance and outlined national plans to expand renewable infrastructure, specifically solar and wind power plants. He identified IIID and its member companies as a suitable platform for implementing these plans.

Tarztalab referenced a previous visit to IIID and announced plans for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at establishing a solar power plant through cooperation with the district and its companies. He also detailed legal incentives and facilities available for renewable energy projects.

During the meeting, managers from several member companies raised questions and points regarding investment in small home-based power plants, the creation of power plant infrastructure, and standardization in the sector.

In another part of the gathering, Attaei, Chairman of the Board of Radin Drug and Supplement Laboratory, introduced the lab's facilities and services to fellow IIID members. He stated that the lab, approved by the Food and Drug Administration, is ready to cooperate with IIID companies, offering services such as nitrosamine analysis, residual solvent testing, elemental analysis, and identification of unknown pharmaceutical impurities.
