Int’l Competition for Attracting Technological Teams

Speaking to ISNA, President of Pardis Technology Park Mehdi Saffarinia described technological events as one of the pillars of keeping the ecosystems of countries alive.

These events make actors and elements of that ecosystem recognize each other and if these events are held internationally, a wider network of elements and activists are connected to each other.

The issue of attracting technological teams and people who can bring an idea to the commercialization stage is one of the challenges in all countries of the world, he added.

We have seen that many countries, including European and North American states and recently East Asian countries, have implemented the "Startup Visa".

He stressed that INOTEX used to have a technology transfer approach, but with a new approach, it has taken a step towards the actors of the entire ecosystem, such as innovation accelerators, investment funds, technology parks, universities, knowledge-based and technological companies, startups and investors.

Accordingly, we tried to ensure that the audience of INOTEX is not only experts and that this exhibition also covers teenagers and youth, he stated.

He noted that the main purpose of Pardis Technology Park is to hold the INOTEX, to present the capabilities of the country, to create networks and get to know different actors and to bring about hope for the society.

A large number of companies from Russia, Pakistan and Turkey had stands in this exhibition, he said.

We are trying to be able to analyze the issues of knowledge-based economy in INOTEX and let it be an opportunity to express the views of the private and public sector, to raise the challenges of this field and to consider investment opportunities in certain fields, he noted.
