Iran Investment Institutions Association Opens Office at Iran International Innovation District (IIID)

On December 6, 2025, the Iran Investment Institutions Association inaugurated its new office at the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), in collaboration with senior executives from the capital market and Pardis Technology Park (PTP). According to the Association’s Secretary-General, the initiative aims to facilitate financing for innovative and knowledge-based projects and deepen the integration of capital and technology.

The opening ceremony, attended by Hojatollah Seyedi, President of the Securities and Exchange Organization, Mehdi SafarNia, President of Pardis Technology Park (PTP), Mohammad Ali Shirazi, CEO of Iran Fara Bourse, and Rasoul Saadi, Secretary-General of the Iran Investment Institutions Association, marked the official launch of this strategic office.

Saadi described the initiative as “a major and influential step in linking innovation with capital,” emphasizing that innovative and knowledge-based projects require financial resources to grow. He noted that members of the Association—including investment companies and venture funds—possess the capacity to finance and invest in such projects.

Highlighting the nature of technology investment, Saadi said these projects generally offer high returns alongside inherent risks, which makes them particularly attractive to investors. With this new office, high-potential projects with strong economic justifications will be identified and directly introduced to members, accelerating and streamlining financing and investment processes.

Saadi stressed that the goal of this collaboration is to contribute to national economic growth and bring innovative ideas to fruition. He added that the office will act as a key connector between innovators, technology firms, and financial institutions, facilitating the commercialization of ideas and projects within Iran’s knowledge-based economy.
