Over 700 Domestic and Foreign Companies Attend Iran Health Show 2024

The press conference of Iran Health Show 2024 was held in the presence of the head of Food and Drug Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran Heydar Mohammadi.

Secretary of Iran Health Show 2024 Amin Reza Khaleghian referred to the presence of more than 700 domestic and foreign companies in this exhibition, saying that over 100 foreign delegations from 10 countries are special guests of the event.

Iran Health Show is an event for the gathering of a large number of manufacturers of medical and environmental equipment and supplies to compete and supply Iranian products to active units in this field, Mohammadi said.

Over 1700 companies are active in the field of medical equipment, he added.

About 400 knowledge-based companies are active in this field, he stated.

A significant part of the medical equipment is produced by Iranian companies, Mohammadi said.

These products are also exported to different countries in addition to meeting domestic needs, he added.

Meanwhile, President of Pardis Technology Park Mahdi Saffarinia said that Pardis Technology Park, as one of the largest places for knowledge-based companies in the field of health, including medicine and medical equipment, has planned the maximum presence of technology and knowledge-based companies in this field.

Universities of medical sciences, government bodies in the field of health, scientific Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy and other governing institutions in the field of health attended “Iran Health Show 2024,” he added.

In the meantime, Khaleghian referred to the 62% increase in the presence of health sector companies in Iran Health Show 2024.

He said that 2,000 square meters space out of 23,000 square meters of the exhibition is reserved for foreign companies.

More than 100 foreign guests in the form of specialized tours from 10 countries visited this exhibition, he noted.

Over 60 side events including specialized panels, workshops, technology meetings and introduction of technological needs have been planned by the management of Iran's National Techmart.
