At INOTEX 2025 on May 1, 2025, the notable presence of Pakistani technology firms, aiming for technical knowledge exchange, product exports, and enhanced bilateral cooperation with Iran, opened a new chapter in regional interactions.

During INOTEX 2025, the significant participation of Pakistani tech companies underscored a fresh perspective on regional collaboration, focusing on knowledge transfer, product exports, and strengthening ties with Iran.

Haseeb Arshad, Sales and Marketing Manager of PAMICO TECHNOLOGIES from Pakistan, spoke with INOTEX 2025 reporters on the sidelines of the exhibition in Tehran. He expressed his company’s keen interest in expanding industrial and export collaborations with Iran in the field of food processing technologies.

Introducing PAMICO: Specialist in Food Industry Machinery
Arshad introduced PAMICO TECHNOLOGIES, stating, “We are one of the leading companies in Pakistan for designing and manufacturing advanced machinery for the food, pharmaceutical, and laboratory industries. With a team of specialized engineers and experienced technicians, we produce over 115 different types of equipment, including dryers, vacuum concentrators, chemical reactors, tablet-making machines, coating machines, and various packaging and processing machinery.”

He added, “The key feature of our products is that they are designed and built according to the specific needs and processes of our clients. Unlike imported machinery, which is often standardized and limited, we first assess the client’s production line requirements and then design a machine tailored to their exact production process.”

Expanding Dried Fruit Processing: Exporting 3 Tons of Dried Mango to Iran
Highlighting Pakistan’s export potential in fruits and dried goods, Arshad noted, “In addition to manufacturing machinery, we have ventured into processing. For instance, we have extensive operations in dried mango production. Last year, we successfully exported 3 tons of dried mango to Iran. Fortunately, Pakistani mangoes are very popular in Iran, and I hope we can increase our export volume this year.”

He also identified Iran as a promising market for dried fruits, saying, “Iran has significant potential in the dried fruit sector. We are interested in both importing dried fruits from Iran and investing in joint processing units within the country.”

Participation in INOTEX 2025: Exchanging Ideas and Initiating Collaborations
Commenting on their participation in INOTEX 2025, Arshad said, “This is our first time in Iran and at this international exhibition. It has been a very positive experience, and we have connected with innovative Iranian companies and startups. Some Iranian products, particularly specialized packaging solutions that enhance food shelf life, were highly appealing to us. I have acquired samples of these packaging materials to introduce and commercialize them in Pakistan.”

Interest in Bilateral Technological Collaboration
Arshad pointed to the cultural and economic commonalities between Iran and Pakistan, stating, “We are eager to develop technological collaborations with Iranian companies and scientific centers. Through this exhibition, we have engaged in discussions with several Iranian entities, and we hope to undertake joint projects in food industry machinery and technical know-how in the future.”

Experience of Visiting Iran: Hospitality and Shared Opportunities
In closing, Arshad expressed gratitude for the warm Iranian hospitality, saying, “The people of Iran are very kind and welcoming. I am delighted to be here and to visit this exhibition, and I hope to participate in future editions of INOTEX. We believe that Iran and Pakistan are not just neighbors but brothers who can grow together and access new markets.”
