Pardis Technology Park, Karoon Petrochemical Company Sign Cooperation Agreement

Simultaneous with the 22^nd annual meeting of Pardis Technology Park, a cooperation agreement worth 1,000 billion Rials was signed between PTP and Karoon Petrochemical Company.

According to the three-year contract, Pardis Technology Park will serve as a bridge to meet the technological needs of Karoon Petrochemical Company.

The contract is aimed at developing local technical knowledge in the Karoon petrochemical value chain and the construction of technological equipment for the first time.

Accordingly, the technological needs of Karoon Petrochemical Company will be provided by Pardis Technology Park and to knowledge-based companies.

On the other hand, the capabilities of knowledge-based companies will be offered to Karoon Petrochemical Company.

Karon Petrochemical Company is the first producer of isocyanates, including TDI and MDI, and completes the value chain of polyurethanes in the Middle East and West Asia.

All kinds of basic and main petrochemical products, with high added value and with premium global quality, are produced and sold to the domestic markets by using chlorine, carbon monoxide and hydrogen gases, as well as toluene, benzene, formalin, ammonia, nitric acid and sulfuric acid feed in Karoon Petrochemical Company.
