President of Iran National Innovation Fund Announces Special Investment Package During Tour of Iran International Innovation District

During a tour of the Iran International Innovation District, the President of the Iran National Innovation Fund announced the provision of a 4 trillion IRR loan to SMEs within the district, highlighting a special package aimed at boosting investment in production.

Mohammad Sadegh Khayyatian, President of the Iran National Innovation Fund (INIF), along with several managers from the fund, toured the Iran International Innovation District (iiiD). During the visit, Khayyatian announced the disbursement of 645 loans totaling approximately 4 trillion IRR to member companies within the district. He emphasized that a team from the INIF will soon establish a presence in the iiiD to assess the files and needs of the member companies.
He further noted that a credit line of 35 trillion IRR will be allocated to the Innovation Development Fund based in the Iran Innovation District. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can access funding of up to 8 billion IRR (for working capital and prototyping) through this fund.
Khayyatian also unveiled a support package for the year 2025, consistent with the year’s slogan, indicating that innovation-based companies, including those in the iiiD, will benefit from this package.
Highlighting the successes of the iiiD, he stated that the presence of over 600 companies, 65% of which are innovation-based, demonstrates the district’s commitment to both quantitative and qualitative growth.
Additionally, Khayyatian mentioned ongoing coordination with the Iran Innovation District to facilitate loans for completing the buildings of member companies, stating that funding will be allocated to companies whose buildings are over 80% physically complete, enabling them to begin operations this year.
The visit included tours of three companies: Biotech Fermentation, a producer of probiotic products; Tavan Pajoohan Pasargad, which specializes in electronic equipment; and Arya Teb Firooz, a manufacturer of hemodialysis devices.
