What Happened at The Opening of INOTEX 2024?

The opening ceremony of INOTEX was held with the presence of the Vice President for Science and Technology and Knowledge-based Economy, President of Pardis Technology Park, the Minister of Science of Zimbabwe and the activists of the innovation ecosystem.

Addressing the event, Roohollah Dehqani Firoozabadi said: Today, the greatness of the country in the international arena is owed to the scientific and technological power of the country, whose owners are knowledge-based companies.

I hope that INOTEX will become the biggest innovation event in the country, he added.

Referring to the knowledge-based companies’ reports, he said: With 10,000 knowledge-based companies, we were able to have over 530,000 billion worth of sales, exports experienced three-fold increase and we exported 2.5 billion worth of products.

Meanwhile, Secretary of INOTEX 2024 Sajad Abbasi Fashami announced holding of the Technology Olympics in the field of artificial intelligence, robotics and technological competitions.

INOTEX hosts more than 400 innovative companies this year, he added.

We also tried to invite those who play an effective role in the country's innovation ecosystem, he noted.

Networking, cooperation and investment participation is our general goal of holding this exhibition.

Parallel to the exhibition, more than 40 business events are held, which are unique in their kind.

He noted that three innovative and creative products in the fields of medicine, robotics, and plastic industries were unveiled.
