12 New Products of Pardis Technology Park Member Companies Unveiled

Simultaneous with the 21st annual meeting of Pardis Technology Park, 12 new products in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, electronics and mechatronics and advanced materials were unveiled.

The event was held in the presence of the Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy Roohollah Dehqani Firoozabadi.

The products unveiled in the event are as follow:

• Ibrutinib

In recent years, Ibrutinib tablets have been introduced as an alternative treatment for failed treatments for patients with lymphoma. It will remove cancer cells from the patient's body. The high price and lack of this product in the pharmaceutical market has made treatment with this drug less popular in the country.

Zist Takhmir Company, a member of Pardis Technology Park, has saved 10 million dollars for the country by producing this drug and also creating a production line for its effective ingredient, in addition to meeting domestic needs.

•  The technology liposomal nanoparticles for producing pharmaceuticals and nutritional supplements

Liposomal nanoparticles are used in the production of pharmaceutical supplements. Nano-liposomal medicinal products and nutritional supplements are more effective and have much less side effects than other types of supplements.

Fanavarn Vanda Pharmed Company, one of the companies in Azadi Innovation Factory has produced liposomal iron drops and zinc liposomal supplements by indigenizing the technology of making liposomal nanoparticles inside the country.

In addition to being absorbed in the human body, these medicinal products also prevent interference and drug poisoning.

• Welding filler for austenitic steels

Welding fillers are used in various industries such as oil and gas industries. Welding filler for austenitic steels is currently available in the country through imports with high prices and poor quality.

Arad Materials and Energy Technology Development Knowledge-Based Company, a member of Pardis Technology Park, has produced austenitic steel welding filler by conducting research and development processes.

One of the benefits of producing this product is to save $1m worth of foreign currency per year and to meet the needs of the country's strategic industries.

• Leish G1 herbal cream

Cutaneous leishmaniasis is treated by injecting the imported drug glucantim or meglumine antimonate in the wounded area, which has little effectiveness and sometimes causes the wound to spread due to the wrong injection of the drug in the wound site in health centers.

In addition to causing severe pain in the wounded area and low effectiveness, this method causes serious complications in some patients.

Behpad Teb Iranian Company, a member of Pardis Technology Park has produced herbal cream for treating cutaneous leishmaniasis. Among the features of this product, we can mention the power of strengthening the cellular immune system, the healing power, and the direct anti-parasitic effect.

• Necessary micropipettes for infertility treatment through ICSI method

The increasing need of infertility treatment centers for the medical equipment has led to producing micropipettes required for infertility treatment through ICSI method.

Ravan Sazeh Company, a member of Pardis Technology Park has met the needs of the country by producing these micropipettes.

This equipment is used in infertility treatment centers for intracytoplasmic injection of sperm into the egg cell and blastomere biopsy from human embryos.

•  Technology of making granule from medicinal plants

CCG technology is one of the most up-to-date global technologies in drug production, in which drugs are produced with better quality and effectiveness.

• DVB-T/T2 two-hertz 6 kW liquid-cooled digital TV transmitter

Fara Afrand Company, a member of Pardis Technology Park has produced a liquid-cooled DVB-T/T2 two-hertz 6 kW digital TV transmitter.

This product is used for broadcasting terrestrial digital television in big cities with DVB-T or 2 DVB-T standards with a wide geographical area.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting is one of the most important customers of this product.

•  10-program FM repeater

The lack of signaling in some mountainous areas or tunnels causes interruption in radio communication. Fara Afrand Company, a member of Pardis Technology Park, has facilitated the transmission of traffic or emergency messages by producing a 10-program FM repeater.
