1st Technology Park in Venezuela Established Using Pardis Technology Park Experience

President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro referred to his visit to Pardis Technology Park, saying that the first science and technology park of Venezuela has been established by using Iran's experiences and taking advantage of Pardis Technology Park model.

During my trip to Iran, at the invitation of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, I visited Pardis Technology Park, which surprised me and my delegation, Maduro said.

After this visit, Pardis Technology Park was studied as a model of paying attention to applied sciences and necessary investment for scientific, economic and industrial development.

With the opening of the first science and technology park in Venezuela, the first step towards achieving the development of science and the technology has been taken, he added.

I encourage all scientists and researchers in the world to visit Iran and Pardis Technology Park, he stressed.

Various departments follow development of applied sciences for the production of all products by using private and government investment.

Venezuela's progress in all sectors relies on its knowledge in the fields of advanced science and technology, he said.

He called for ending sanctions through friendship with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
