The secretary of the Cyber Security League of Tech Olympics 2024 announced:
230 Damage to Mobile and Internal Web Systems Identified Within Four Days
The participants in Cyber Security League identified and reported 230 damage to the websites and mobile systems of banks, operators and IT companies.
The cyber security competition was held at Tech Olympics 2024 to identify the most outstanding talents and creative minds in this field. It provided a unique opportunity for the participants to test their technical capabilities.
Strengthening the information security, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and experiences, and improving readiness to deal with cyber threats are among the goals defined in this league.
Regarding the Bug Bounty League, the secretary of the Cyber Security League of Tech Olympics 2024 Mojtaba Mostafavi said that more than 60 white hat hackers from all over the country evaluated the website and mobile systems of banks, operators and large companies active in the field of information technology.
In the Bug Bunty section, each of the teams that identifies the damage of the introduced systems will receive a reward, he added.
These teams discovered more than 230 damages from these systems within four days, he stated.
Regarding the CTF competition, he said that 400 teams attended the preliminary stage.
After the preliminary stage, 10 teams were selected to participate in the "attack and defense" competitions and 10 others were selected for the "hardware hacking" competitions, he noted.
Elaborating on the details of the hardware hacking league, he said that the teams competed with each other to hack hardware such as access cards, electronic boards, IOT equipment, etc.
In the attack and defense league, the Inspect Element team ranked first. Disqualified team ranked second and D.O.T team ranked third.
In the hardware competition league, Disqualified, Inspect Element and OlympicsPwNers ranked first to third respectively.
