6th D-8 Investment Meeting Held in Malaysia

The sixth investment meeting of D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation was held in the presence of six technological, knowledge-based and investment companies from Iran in Malaysia.

Holding specialized panels in the field of investment, innovation and technology was on the agenda of this meeting.

Mohammad Saleh Khaleghi, the representative of Iran in D-8 Technology Transfer and Exchange Network and the secretary of Iran's National Techmart said that the meeting was attended by D-8 Secretary-General Isiaka Abdulqadir Imam and representatives of the member states in Malaysia.

Six technological, knowledge-based and investment companies from Iran participated in this meeting and presented their achievements, he added.

Khaleghi pointed to holding of specialized panels on investment in the field of innovation and technology in this meeting.

In addition to Iranian companies, 24 foreign companies from D-8 member countries also presented their achievements.

Iran, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Egypt and Nigeria are 8 developing Islamic countries that are members of the D-8.

D-8 Technology Transfer and Exchange Network was established by the initiative of Pardis Technology Park and its secretariat is located in Pardis Technology Park.
