Afghan Acting Health Minister Tours Iran Health 2025 to Boost Bilateral Ties

Tehran, Iran - Maulvi Noor Jalal Jalali, Acting Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, visited the 26th Iran Health Exhibition to explore Iran’s health sector advancements and strengthen cooperation.
June 9, 2025 - Maulvi Noor Jalal Jalali, Acting Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, led an official delegation to the 26th Iran Health Exhibition at the Tehran International Exhibition Center. During the visit, he met with Dr. Saeed Reza Shahmoradi, Director General of Medical Equipment and Supplies at Iran’s Food and Drug Administration, to discuss bilateral cooperation in the production, export, and technology transfer of medical equipment.
Jalali toured various sections of the exhibition, gaining insights into Iran’s latest technological products in health, including knowledge-based company innovations, hospital equipment, advanced pharmaceuticals, and cutting-edge technologies such as medical imaging devices, 3D printing, and AI in healthcare. He engaged in discussions with Iranian manufacturers to explore potential partnerships.
Accompanied by Alireza Bikdeli, Acting Head of the Iranian Embassy in Kabul, and Afghan diplomats based in Tehran, Jalali expressed satisfaction with attending this international event. He praised the exhibition as a successful model of self-sufficiency and technological progress under sanctions, suggesting that Afghanistan could benefit from Iran’s expertise in producing and localizing medical equipment. He also hoped for similar exhibitions in Afghanistan to enhance scientific and commercial exchanges between the two nations. The event concluded on June 10, 2025.
