Growth centers (Incubators) are a platform for promotion of technology units and start-ups in the science and technology ecosystem.

Head of Elite Technology Development Center Mohsen Ali Akbarian said that in the technology business ecosystem, the starting point for supporting these creative ideas are growth centers.

These centers host technology teams and start-up companies that are on the way to create a business and develop it, and by providing services and removing obstacles, they pave the way for development in the business environment, especially in the field of technology and innovation, he added.

Those who intend to enter the technological and innovative business environment must be mentally prepared and be able to identify the obstacles and opportunities, he noted.

The admission is done through a public call, which are chosen according to the admission capacities of the growth center in the applied fields, he added.

The focus is on idea-oriented and teamwork of the team so that the idea becomes more mature, also the group members are trained on how to transfer concepts and plans to customers and investors, he said.

He stated that the technology units and startups should draw a one-year and three-year plan for their business. This is done by providing guidance and services provided by the growth center.
