COMSTECH Coordinator Terms PTP As Successful Example of Developing Technology Parks in Islamic Countries

Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General COMSTECH said: I had heard that Pardis Technology Park has the slogan of Iran's Silicon Valley, but after visiting this park, I believe that it is the Silicon Valley of West Asia and is a successful example for the developing technology parks in Islamic countries.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the training workshop for the management of technology parks, Choudhary said that the agenda of this workshop is to strengthen bilateral cooperation and exchange experiences for two days in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

The event was held in the presence of Iran Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammad Ali Hossein and manager of Pardis Technology Park.

A delegation of scientific experts and managers from Pardis Technology Park, as the largest technology park in Iran and West Asia, has traveled to Islamabad to participate in the event and exchange experiences with Pakistani experts.

Diplomats of some Islamic countries along with more than a hundred Pakistani experts and specialists attended the opening ceremony of the COMSTEC scientific event in person and online.

The workshop is aimed at developing technological cooperation between technology parks and experts in Islamic countries so that they can help develop technology in their countries.
