At the “Chameh” event during INOTEX 2025 on May 1, 2025, the story of Syed Mohammad Mousavi, an entrepreneur who overcame physical disability, unfolded—revealing how he transformed the Firooz factory into a symbol of employment for the disabled after acquiring it in 2000.

Syed Mohammad Mousavi, born in 1933 in Qazvin, overcame polio-induced disability to become a successful entrepreneur. After acquiring the Firooz factory in 2000, he expanded its product range from 5 to over 70 items and grew its workforce to 600, focusing on employing individuals with disabilities. Today, Firooz employs over 1,600 people directly. Mousavi credits his success to his mother’s supportive belief in his abilities and his family’s encouragement. He emphasizes social responsibility in entrepreneurship, aiming to serve society beyond mere profit. His journey from a disabled child to a national contributor reflects his belief that “thinking creates production.”
