COMSTECH and Pardis Technology Park Inaugurate Joint Technology Academy at IIID

A joint technology academy between the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) and Pardis Technology Park was inaugurated at the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), aiming to share Iran’s successful innovation and entrepreneurship experiences with other member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

In the opening ceremony attended by Mahdi Safarinia, President of Pardis Technology Park, and Prof. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of COMSTECH, the new academy was officially launched at IIID.
Prof. Choudhary described IIID and Pardis Technology Park as the “best model of an innovation ecosystem in West Asia,” highlighting its remarkable two-decade growth and global recognition for supporting entrepreneurs and commercializing technologies.
The academy, established under a Memorandum of Understanding between COMSTECH and Pardis Technology Park, will provide regular specialized training programs for OIC member states. The first program will focus on artificial intelligence, followed by diverse innovation and technology courses.
Prof. Choudhary, a former laureate of the Mustafa Prize (PBUH), emphasized that Iran’s achievements in scientific and technological development should be shared across the Islamic world. He called the opening of the joint technology academy “a milestone in advancing collective scientific and technological progress” and praised Pardis Technology Park’s infrastructure and extensive networks as key enablers of Islamic world cooperation.
