D8 TTEN Establishment Aiming to Develop Technological Cooperation Between Member States

Head of D-8 Technology Transfer and Exchange Network (D-8 TTEN) Milad Sadrkhanlou said that establishing D-8 TTEN is aimed to develop technological cooperation between the member countries

Sadrkhanlou referred to plans for establishing an international technology support fund in the D8 member countries.

This network was established with the aim of exchanging technology between the Islamic countries that are members of the D8 and has held numerous technological meetings and events in the member countries during the last 10 years, he added.

The purpose of establishing this network has been to develop technological cooperation between member countries, which will lead to the economic development of Muslim countries, he noted.

He also pointed to Technology Investment Meeting (TIM), saying that more than $30 million worth of commercial investment was made in various fields of technology, including medicine, energy, medical equipment and information technology.
