Danava 2025 to Inspire Iran’s Next Generation of Innovators at IIID
The Iran International Innovation District (IIID) will host the 4th edition of the Danava National Student Innovation Event from November 17–19, 2025, offering a platform for high school students across Iran to showcase and develop their innovative ideas.
The event will feature five main sections: provincial and regional competitions, training and capacity building programs, a national exhibition, side events, and the Danava Cup robotics competition.
Mahdi Safarinia, President of Pardis Technology Park, emphasized during the press briefing that Danava is not just about teaching technical skills—it is about shaping creative, entrepreneurial, and capable young individuals who can design their educational and professional paths with purpose. He stressed that nurturing student talent from the school level is essential to building Iran’s innovation-driven economy.
Since its launch in 2022, Danava has become a prominent platform for student innovators. The previous edition received over 8,000 proposals, with more than 300 selected for display at the final exhibition held at IIID, attracting over 15,000 visitors.
Mojtaba Jabbaripour, Vice President for Innovation Development at Pardis Technology Park, stated that Danava is designed to give students real experience in teamwork, creativity, and turning science into marketable ideas. This year, over 2,000 proposals have already been submitted, with the number expected to exceed 5,000 by the event’s start date.
During the three-day final stage, selected students will participate in workshops, specialized panels, robotics competitions, and networking sessions to enhance their ideas and bring them closer to product development.
The closing ceremony will also unveil the official poster for Danava 2026 and the “Technology Ambassador Card,” aimed at fostering networking among gifted students and educators and promoting innovation culture in schools nationwide.
