Progress on Construction Operations of Phase 3 in the Iran International Innovation District Amid Winter
Engineers and Workers Continue Operations in All Weather Conditions

Despite the severe cold and weather conditions of Autumn and Winter 1403 (February 2025), construction operations for Phase 3 of the Iran International Innovation District are advancing. This project, regarded as one of the developmental phases of the district, is rapidly moving towards full operational readiness.
Despite an unprecedented cold snap this fall and winter, construction operations for Phase 3 of the Iran International Innovation District iiiD are progressing without interruption. Project teams and engineers are working tirelessly with advanced equipment to build the necessary facilities and infrastructure for the establishment of SMEs and startups.
One of the key achievements of this project is the preparation of essential infrastructure, including electricity, telecommunications, water, and gas, which has been developed to high standards to ensure the sustainable operation of companies located in the district. Additionally, a reliable high-speed internet network has been established in this phase, facilitating interaction and collaboration among companies and providing access to global information.
Alongside these infrastructures, the proximity to the Pardis Technology Park and technology-based companies in Phases 1 and 2 of the iiiD has positioned this phase, known as the Entrepreneurship Hub, as one of the most significant technology projects in the country.
According to recent reports, construction of facilities for several companies has made significant progress. It is expected that some of these buildings will soon be operational, allowing SMEs to commence their activities in this environment. Furthermore, it is anticipated that by mid-2025, additional buildings in Phase 3 will be fully operational.
Phase 3 of the iiiD will play a crucial role in developing the country’s knowledge-based economy, particularly in the health sector. With the establishment of SMEs and startups in this area, we expect to see job creation, the production of knowledge-based products, increased non-oil exports, and the advancement of innovative technologies in the country. Additionally, this district has the potential to become a hub for attracting foreign investment and fostering international collaborations in technology.
The construction of Phase 3 of the iiiD represents a significant step toward achieving the country’s developmental goals in technology and innovation. With the completion of this project, we hope to witness the flourishing of the knowledge-based economy and an enhanced position for Iran in global competitiveness.
