EU Economic Counsellors, Tour Iran International Innovation District

On April 7, 2025, a group of EU economic attachés visited the Iran International Innovation District, gaining firsthand insights into the achievements of SMEs in the area. This visit was organized in collaboration with the Polish Embassy in Tehran, as Poland currently holds the rotating presidency of the European Union.

A delegation of economic advisors from the European Union recently toured the Iran International Innovation District (iiiD). This visit, organized in collaboration with the Polish Embassy, which holds the EU’s rotating presidency, featured a report on the activities and achievements of member companies within the Iran Innovation District presented by Amin Reza Khaleghian, Director General of Communications and International Affairs at the Pardis Technology Park.

Khaleghian highlighted the readiness of the iiiD to collaborate with embassies for technological development, stating that technology parks in various European countries can establish bilateral cooperation with the Iran Innovation District while visiting. He noted that the district has previously engaged in technological collaboration with the EU.

Sajad Abbasi Feshmi, Director General of Promotion and Development of Technology Clusters, introduced the international INOTEX exhibition and the Technology Olympics event. He invited the EU economic advisors to visit the INOTEX exhibition, describing it as a platform for showcasing the country’s innovations and technologies to the EU and fostering technological collaboration between the two sides.

The visit also included a tour of the exhibition of Iranian-made medical equipment and the knowledge-based company DioPars, which specializes in dental implant production.
