First Vice President attends 15th joint session of Pardis Technology Park and Pardis Health Technology Park boards
October 5, 2025 — The First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref underscored that raising the region’s scientific influence alongside commercialization of scientific and technological initiatives are among the Iran International Innovation District (IIID)'s top priorities, noting that the public has not yet felt the country’s scientific and technological progress and that we must move toward a path where the benefits of these achievements are visible in people’s lives. According to IIID’s Public Relations Office, quoting the Office of the First Vice President, the fifteenth joint session of the Pardis Technology Park and Pardis Health Technology Park boards, chaired by First Vice President Aref and attended by Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy Deputy Hossein Afshin, Roads and Urban Development Minister Farzaneh Sadegh, Tehran Governor Mohammad-Sadeq Motamadian, and other senior officials, approved a set of major decisions for Iran’s largest innovation zone.
- The meeting reviewed topics related to infrastructure development, support for technology-based units, and budgeting, and approved a package of measures for advancing Pardis parks.
- A comprehensive report on Pardis Technology Park activities was presented, along with a review and approval of the park’s support for tech-based companies and units and updates on land development readiness.
- Emphasis was placed on accelerating land transfers and advancing the elite residential city for elites, with the detailed budget for 2025 (Islamic calendar year 1404) approved for Pardis Technology Park.
- The First Vice President emphasized international development of the park and directed that international programs in advanced technologies with members of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization be defined and implemented by IIID.
- In a separate part of the session, by board vote, Dr. Majid Ghasemi, Dr. Mehdi Safari, and Dr. Alinaghi Moshaykhi were elected as real members of the General Assembly of the Pardis Technology Park Development and Investment Organization.
Visits to development phases of Pardis Technology Park, the Khatam University project, and one member AI company were also on the agenda
