In the heart of one of the busiest districts of the capital and a short distance from Shush's market, there is a hospital that is doing an important task; fulfilling a wish.

I look around the hall; mothers and fathers of all ages are here with one or two children. Parents who are forced to use method of using their frozen embryos due to infertility, old age of the mother, or some diseases in the mother.

Embryo freezing process includes ovulation under puncture operation and then fertilizing the eggs with husband's sperm by IVF or microinjection method in the laboratory and finally freezing the embryos.

Frozen embryo transfer is a common method, the first successful process of freezing and thawing an embryo for transfer was done 42 years ago.

This method is useful for those whose embryos need to be genetically evaluated before transfer in order to transfer healthy embryos, for mothers who are being treated with certain drugs and to avoid the effects of Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) that worsens with pregnancy.

Speaking to ISNA, Founder of Teckwin Company Farhang Abed said that patients who are going to undergo IVF may have more than 10-15 embryos in the treatment cycle, while there is the ability to transfer three embryos to the mother's body in each cycle, these three embryos enter the mother's body in the hope that at least one of the embryos will remain stable.

The remaining embryos are frozen so that if the first cycle of IVF is unsuccessful, we can transfer the embryos to the mother's body in subsequent cycles, and if the pregnancy is successful, they can use these frozen embryos for subsequent pregnancies, he added.

When we started our mission, most of the infertility treatment equipment were foreign, and they were expensive, he stated.

Therefore, we established a knowledge-based company, and gained technical knowledge of production, he noted.

Commenting on saving foreign currency by using domestic Rigid Embryo Straws, he said that the foreign samples of these straws are very expensive.

Even the Chinese samples may worth one million tomans, while we sell these straws at one-tenth of the price of the Chinese ones, he said.
