From Iran’s Innovation District to a Global Stage: An Iranian Tech Dream in China’s Hi-Tech Market

AryaTeb Firooz, a knowledge-based medical technology company based in the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), represented Iran at the national pavilion of the 27th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF 2025) in Shenzhen—one of Asia’s largest and most influential technology exhibitions.

The China Hi-Tech Fair 2025 was held from 14 to 16 November 2025 in Shenzhen, bringing together cutting-edge technologies and global innovators in fields such as next-generation ICT, new energy, electronics, biotechnology, environment, and advanced equipment. Recognized as China’s most important sci-tech exhibition, CHTF has become a key platform for international technological and economic exchange.

In this edition, AryaTeb Firooz—an IIID-based company and manufacturer of advanced hemodialysis systems—participated in Iran’s national pavilion, presenting its latest capabilities and products in medical equipment.

Founded in 2013 with a focus on R&D in medical devices at Pardis Technology Park, AryaTeb Firooz achieved a major milestone in 2015 by mastering the technology for designing and manufacturing hemodialysis machines and related specialized software. This achievement positioned the company as the world’s ninth producer of hemodialysis devices and marked Iran as the fifth country to develop this strategic and highly sensitive technology.

The company’s presence at CHTF 2025 provided a valuable opportunity to showcase Iran’s medtech capabilities, expand international cooperation, and explore new export markets in the medical equipment sector—a field that holds strategic importance in knowledge-based economies due to its high technological complexity and regulatory sensitivity.

Supported by multiple Chinese ministries, national commissions, and the Shenzhen municipal government, CHTF has, over recent years, evolved into a major global hub for presenting innovations, building technology partnerships, and facilitating access to international markets.
