Global Technology Talents Compete in the Heart of Innovation – Technology Olympiad Opens at IIID
At the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), the second Technology Olympiad opened this morning, bringing together top innovators and teams from 16 countries alongside Iranian specialists in a landmark event aimed at identifying technological talent and connecting them to industry and knowledge-based enterprises.
The international competition features participants from countries including Russia, Oman, Pakistan, Turkey, Vietnam, and India, with contests in six main fields: artificial intelligence, programming, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), combat robots, and drones.
Each field includes specialized leagues designed to test technical skills under real-world conditions, with the best talents selected for collaboration with leading technology firms.
The Olympiad’s goals include promoting technological competition, identifying outstanding innovators, and creating job opportunities within Iran’s innovation ecosystem. Alongside the contests, the event hosts a job fair, B2B meetings, and specialist workshops.
The official opening ceremony will be held this afternoon at IIID’s Conference Center, featuring a report on the progress of various sections and the Olympiad’s international programs.
