IIID Launches First Specialized Health Incubator in Partnership with Fandis Accelerator

The Elite Technology Development Center of the Iran International Innovation District joined forces with Fandis Accelerator to create a dedicated space for health-sector startups. The facility will provide mentoring, training, funding, and networking opportunities from the ideation stage to commercialization, fostering synergy between the public and private sectors.

Mohsen Aliakbarian, head of the Elite Technology Development Center, emphasized the collaboration’s strategic importance: “We are starting a new chapter in public–private synergy to support entrepreneurs and elites in the health domain, particularly in biotechnology and converging technologies.”

Fandis Accelerator CEO Mehdi Gholami stated that the initiative is designed to “identify, nurture, and support innovative health ideas so that emerging companies can grow within a specialized environment equipped with strong scientific and technical backing.”

He highlighted IIID’s role as a prime hub for health-focused startups, citing its advanced technological infrastructure, extensive network of knowledge-based companies, and robust support mechanisms.
