PTP President Elaborates on Contribution of Science and Technology Parks in VAT Law

The value added tax law was one of our experiences in the Pardis Technology Park, and considering that we are facing budget problems in all Iranian technology parks, which are gathering for knowledge-based companies, this law paved the way for solving some of the problems of the parks, President of Pardis Technology Park Mahdi Saffarinia said addressing the INOTEX 2024 G-Forum.

The budget of all the country's technology parks is not the same as Tehran University, and many of the 10,000 companies active in the country's science and technology parks were facing water, electricity, and gas infrastructure problems, he said.

We started the legal opportunity in 1396 to provide the infrastructure of large technology parks to receive 3% of the 9% value added tax share of the municipalities, he added.
