The Iran International Innovation District has completed its annual performance evaluation, resulting in the selection of seven top-performing technology companies and 22 leaders in social responsibility to be recognized at the district’s annual gathering. The evaluation covered the performance of 335 member companies in 2024, with more than 80% participation and the addition of 120 new products to the innovation ecosystem.

According to Mohsen Ali-Akbarian, Director General for Oversight and Evaluation at Pardis Technology Park, the 2025 assessment process began on July 7 and was extended to the end of August due to tax declaration deadlines. Companies evaluated included land-owning members, tenants, incubator companies, branch members, and members of the specialized service corridor. Over 2,200 data records were validated through the evaluation system, and the park’s call center handled more than 900 inquiries during the process.

The assessment aimed to provide an accurate data set for the annual report and to identify top companies across multiple criteria, including technology and innovation development, economic growth, organizational development, cooperation with universities and research centers, and social responsibility.

Criteria for technology and innovation included technological maturity, depth of technical knowledge, and the commercialization of innovative products. Economic development criteria covered sales growth, profitability, export volume, and market destinations, while organizational development looked at human resource strategies, marketing, sales structures, and customer support.

In the end, five companies from IIID, one from the incubator, and one from the innovation factories were chosen as 2025’s top performers. Twenty-two companies will also be recognized for leadership in social responsibility.

This year’s evaluation recorded more than 2,650 innovative products, including 120 new entries, 76 registered product innovations, and 25 research collaboration contracts with universities. The process has been streamlined by integrating it with tax exemption applications and through the launch of the myco.techpark.ir online platform.

Investment in equipment and production lines in the park is estimated at 140,000 billion rials (14 همت), with 100,000 billion rials allocated to the health sector—underlining IIID’s growing position as a national hub for health sector investment.
