INOTEX 2026 Opens with Focus on Tech-Industry Synergy and 15,000 Billion IRR MoU

During the opening ceremony, officials emphasized the necessity of bridging the gap between technological capacity, capital, and industrial demand. Safarinia highlighted the shifting global dynamics of power, asserting that nations capable of converting knowledge into products, and products into technological power, will lead the future. He framed INOTEX not merely as an exhibition, but as a strategic platform for networking, investment, and ecosystem collaboration.

A focal point of the ceremony was the signing of a strategic MoU between PTP and the Persian Gulf Power Generation Company. Valued at 15,000 billion IRR, the agreement aims to localize strategic components for the power industry. PTP will act as the strategic project leader, facilitating matchmaking between industrial needs and technological solutions.

Key objectives of this collaboration include:

• Maximizing the capacity of knowledge-based companies to address technological needs in the power sector.
• Utilizing Article 13 of the Leap in Knowledge-Based Production Law to reduce employer risk during the localization process.
• Leveraging legal frameworks to support and protect knowledge-based production within national industries.
• Establishing a structured pathway for domestic manufacturing of strategic items required by the power generation sector.

Following the ceremony, Afshin, Safarinia, and accompanying delegations toured the exhibition halls to review the latest technological achievements of the participating companies.
