Insights from Russia’s Innovation Advisor at INOTEX 2025
INOTEX Serves as a Platform for Industrialists and Innovators, Says Russian Presidential Advisor

Andrey Fursenko, Special Assistant to the Russian President for Innovation and Technology, hailed INOTEX as a vital platform connecting industrialists and innovators while addressing global and regional challenges during the event’s closing ceremony.
On May 1, 2025, during the closing ceremony of the 14th INOTEX exhibition in Tehran, Andrey Fursenko, Special Assistant to the Russian President for Innovation and Technology, commended the event’s progress, noting significant improvements in infrastructure compared to his visit two years prior.
Fursenko described INOTEX as not only a platform linking industrialists and innovators from various countries but also a crucial forum for tackling regional and global issues. He emphasized the importance of developing technologies to address challenges such as financial constraints, food security, and environmental concerns, underscoring the role of governments in resolving these pressing matters.
He highlighted the need for a forward-looking vision and investment in human resources, stressing the scarcity of current resources and the importance of prioritization. Fursenko also addressed the conservation of natural resources, advocating for sustainable technology development to protect the environment and humanity, as natural resources are finite and renewable alternatives remain underutilized.
Commenting on technology design, he noted that national interests often shape development agendas, sometimes at the expense of environmental protection. He urged the creation of adaptive technological scenarios to anticipate future changes and mitigate risks. On the trending topic of artificial intelligence, Fursenko cautioned that while AI offers practical solutions, not all are beneficial to nature or humanity, advocating for human-centric technology design—a direction he observed INOTEX aligning with.
