Vice President of Petróleos de Venezuela Juan Santana said we take advantage of the Iranian knowledge to strengthen the country's industrial technology sector.

Speaking to Pardis Technology Park reporter, Santana hailed the activities of Iranian companies in the field of knowledge base and their growth in the technology field of the oil and gas sector, saying: During the trip to Iran and today's visit to Pardis Technology Park, which was attended by senior managers and the technical team of Petróleos de Venezuela, the potentials of Iranian companies for bilateral cooperation were evaluated.

These visits are according to our country’s demands and Iran’s in the field of new technology and we want the cooperation to be in the interests of both sides, he added.

He pointed to the cruel sanctions imposed on Venezuela by the world arrogance, saying that Venezuela is involved in cruel sanctions that limit our production activities in the field of oil and gas.

Due to the fact that Iran is in a similar situation, it can be of great help to develop the oil and gas industry of Venezuela, he stressed.

The Unity between the two countries will lead to improving equipment and developing oil and gas technology, Santana said.

We have so far met with 70 innovative Iranian companies in the field of oil and gas industry and evaluated their latest achievements, he added.

Iranian companies have been successful in some technological capabilities that they have become a powerful country in this field, he reiterated.
