PTP President Terms Industry-University Connection as One of PTP Most Prosperous Parts

Addressing the opening ceremony of the 16^th National and 12^th International Conference on Management of Technology and Innovation which was held in Pardis Technology Park, Mahdi Saffarinia, President of Pardis Technology Park said that PTP has achieved good success in the field of economic development by creating effective cooperation between innovative groups, industry and university. 

He described knowledge-based firms as actors which helped technology parks do their roles and without their cooperation, their missions will not be successful.

The role of Pardis Technology Park is very important in establishing cooperation between these actors to complete and strengthen the chain between the government, university and small and large economic enterprises, he stressed.

Referring to the gap between science and technology, he said that technology parks are trying to reduce this gap and Pardis Technology Park has been successful in this regard.

He went on to say that startups can be effective in the field of technology penetration in large industries.

Creating accelerators in the development center and sharing them with techmarts has provided great help, he stated.
