Pardis Technology Park President Highlights Global Interest in Iran’s Tech Governance Experience
Iranian Technology Governance Model Showcased at INOTEX 2025

Tehran – The President of Pardis Technology Park (PTP), Mehdi Safari-Nia, announced at the opening ceremony of the INOTEX 2025 Governance Forum that 15 countries have expressed interest in leveraging Iran’s expertise in technology governance and legislation during the event. He also noted that 27 international organizations from 15 countries are participating as exhibitors at the Iran International Innovation & Technology Exhibition (INOTEX).
During the opening of the “INOTEX 2025 Governance and Legislation Forum,” held on the sidelines of the exhibition, Safari-Nia emphasized the importance of addressing governance in the technology sector. “This marks the fourth edition of programs related to governance techniques in Iran’s innovation ecosystem. Over the past four years, one of our key focuses has been governance and legislation within the technology and innovation landscape. With a diverse range of technologists present at this event, it provides a platform for dialogue and collaboration among various stakeholders,” he said.
Safari-Nia added that previous editions saw significant efforts, and this year, the Center for Parliamentary Research and the Creative House are managing the forum sessions. “This is a commendable collaboration, as it leverages the capacities of the parliament, government, and private sector over these three days. We anticipate a comprehensive and impactful program this year.”
Highlighting the scope of INOTEX 2025, he stated, “This edition brings together numerous domestic and international players from Iran’s technology ecosystem. While the exhibition is just one part of the event, the governance segment is crucial, fostering discussions and networking. This year, 24 events, including various sessions, are being held simultaneously across five halls from morning to evening.”
Reflecting on Iran’s technological governance experience, Safari-Nia remarked, “Iran’s success in integrating technology with law and governance has been notable. Some of the 27 international exhibitors from 15 countries are keen to adopt Iran’s technological governance model and have requested the transfer of this expertise through training courses and workshops.”
He further elaborated, “In the realm of knowledge-based companies, Iran’s achievements have become a model for other nations. At least two countries have officially requested to learn from this experience. Additionally, various entities from the Vice Presidency for Scientific, Technological, and Knowledge-Based Economy Affairs have participated in specialized sessions. The discussions held here are not only beneficial for Iran but also hold value for countries in the region and the Islamic world.”
In closing, Safari-Nia expressed gratitude to the Center for Parliamentary Research for their collaboration and hoped for the event’s success. He also noted that students from around 40 universities across Iran will visit the exhibition over the four days, providing them with a valuable opportunity to become familiar with the discourse of technology governance, which could greatly benefit the country’s future.
