Tehran, April 29, 2025 – The Iran National Innovation Fund (INIF) pledges substantial financial backing for first-time productions, offering facilities up to IRR 100 billion to drive innovative contracts.

Mahmoud Sadegh Khayatyan, President of the Iran National Innovation Fund (INIF), announced key support initiatives for first-time productions at INOTEX 2025. He confirmed that INIF is ready to extend national and international financial facilities up to IRR 100 billion (approximately $2.4 million at official rates) to support contracts for pioneering products.

During the unveiling of the nation’s top five technological products at the Pioneers Festival of INOTEX, Khayatyan underscored the event’s prominence in Southwest Asia. “INOTEX addresses a vital gap in Iran’s innovation ecosystem by annually bringing together knowledge-based companies, technologists, investors, industrialists, and all science and technology stakeholders,” he stated. He highlighted the event as a platform beyond trade, fostering networking, knowledge exchange, collective learning, and strategic planning.

Noting the vibrant participation of startups, tech firms, and investors, Khayatyan described INOTEX as a unique opportunity to review achievements, share expertise, and chart a one-year roadmap for accelerating technological growth in Iran. He also mentioned that new tax incentives under the recently approved Seventh Development Plan will be actively promoted to enhance trust and transparency.

Khayatyan emphasized INIF’s core objective of engaging investors to inject resources into the fund and ensure targeted investments in the value chain of knowledge-based industries. “Though it’s premature to evaluate the impact of these policies, we are hopeful that with promotional efforts and transparent processes, notable results will emerge by year-end,” he concluded.
