Mustafa Prize and the Standing Committee for Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) signed an agreement on granting scholarship to young scientists.

The agreement was signed on training the young generation and building their capacity to produce science, technology and innovation in line with the Islamic society’s values and needs.

Accordingly, Mustafa Prize and COMSTECH will start a program to support granting scholarship to young scientists.

Exchanging new scientific and research findings through networking, simplification and strengthening international relations to help develop science and technology in the Islamic world; reinforcing and institutionalizing communications, scientific collaborations and exchanging international knowledge between researchers of the Islamic world and prestigious scientific and technological centers and research centers of reputable companies; developing scientific achievements, improving the quality of researchers' studies were among article of the agreement.

At least 50% of the total scholarships should be granted to young scholars from less developed countries that are members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and 50% to young female scholars.
