Pardis Tech Park and Ministry of Culture Sign MoU for Creative Industries Hubs

The agreement, signed by Mehdi Safarinia, President of Pardis Technology Park (PTP), and Hossein Entezami, Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for Management Development and Resources, aims to bridge the gap between the cultural/arts ecosystem and the technology sector. According to the IIID Public Relations Office, this collaboration will foster a dedicated environment for innovative businesses in the creative sector.

Key operational pillars and strategic initiatives highlighted include:

• Specialized Branches: Establishing dedicated hubs within the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), with initial priority given to computer games, animation, and digital content production.
• Comprehensive Support Services: Providing targeted incubation, mentoring, investment attraction, marketing, and legal/tax advisory services to creative tech entrepreneurs.
• Institutional Synergy: Leveraging the capacity of affiliated bodies, including the National Computer Games Foundation, the National Animation Foundation of Iran, and the Farabi Cinema Foundation.
• Export Corridors: Facilitating the export of cultural products and services, with provisions to expand this specialized branch model to other regions and creative sectors if the Tehran pilot proves successful.

This strategic partnership underscores a concerted effort to professionalize and scale Iran's cultural and creative industries by integrating them into the structured support framework of the national innovation ecosystem.
