Iranian Tissue Product Company produces human tissue transplant products

Iranian Tissue Product Company researchers converted allograft bone products from brain death and deceased donor tissue into transplantable tissue.

The Chief Executive Officer of Iranian Tissue Product Company Amir Hossein Tavakoli said that these tissues become transplantable tissue such as bone, heart valve, cartilage, skin, tendon, etc.

The tissue is removed from the donor's body and, through a high-tech process, it becomes a scaffold that does not contain cells and can be transplanted into the patient body.

Due to the extraction of human tissue, this product has structural properties consistent with the extracellular matrix of bone tissue and also has favorable biocompatibility and bone conductivity.

He noted that orthopedic and spine surgery, dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, and bone tumor surgery are other uses of the products produced by this company.

Developed countries such as the US, Canada, Germany, England, etc., and Asian countries such as China and South Korea use these products.

The product's impact on neutralizing sanctions, reducing dependence on foreign countries, and also meeting the country's strategic needs are among the other advantages of producing such a product.
