Pardis Technology Park Technologists Produce Software for Iranian Banks

Speaking to Fars News Agency, President of Pardis Technology Park Mahdi Saffarinia said that elites in Pradis Technology Park produce and update the main banking software of most banks in Iran.

Pardis Technology Park is a subsidiary of the Vice Presidency for scientific, technological and knowledge-based economy affairs and the largest technology park in West Asia, which has been upgraded to an international innovation district.

Stressing the fact that medical equipment is very advanced in terms of knowledge and has very high international standards, Saffarinia said that Pardis Technology Park has been successful is in this field.

Currently, companies have indigenized and exported a large share of medical equipment, he added.

We have a very good share of the domestic market and a share of the foreign market in the field of medical equipment, he stated.

Domestic operating room equipment, Iranian intensive care unit (ICU) equipment, especially electronic equipment, are completely produced in Pardis Technology Park, he said.

He lauded progress in producing drugs for incurable diseases, saying that a significant number of necessary medicines, which previously had a very high share of imports, are now produced in the park.

Pardis Technology Park has saved $700 million in this field, he stressed.

He went on to say that Pardis Technology Park had significant success in IT.

Most of the Iranian banks use the banking software produced by PTP companies, Saffarinia said.
