Pardis Technology Park to Upgrade to Iran’s Int’l Innovation Zone

Iran’s Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy Ruhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi said that Iran's international innovation zone will be established in Pardis Technology Park.

The rule book for the establishment of this center have been approved by the government cabinet, and it will become one of the largest innovation centers in the region with physical and legal upgrades, he said.

In this rule book, which is set in 40 clauses, Pardis Technology Park will become one of the largest technology areas in the region with physical and legal upgrades in the horizon of 1408, he added.

Various facilities in the field of laws, legal exemptions, foreign investment and international facilities are considered so that Pardis Technology Park becomes one of the 10 foreign investment bases in the region, Dehghani Firouzabadi noted.

He referred to presence of at least 50 non-Iranian technology-related companies in Iran's international innovation zone as one of the goals of creating this zone.
