On September 4, 2026, Pardis Technology Park (PTP) unveiled plans to launch a specialized AI Campus next year. Mojtaba Jabbaripour, VP of Innovation Development at PTP, stated a dedicated building will support AI startups to enhance national industrial productivity.

Speaking at the opening of the 3rd National and 1st International Conference on AI and IoT, held alongside the Iran International Innovation & Technology Exhibition (INOTEX), Jabbaripour highlighted the convergence of academic research and practical tech ecosystem development. According to the INOTEX 2026 News Center, this integrated approach marks a significant maturation in the national innovation landscape.

Key strategic initiatives and observations outlined by PTP leadership include:

  • Dedicated AI Infrastructure: Planning to allocate a specific building within the park next year exclusively for AI-focused startups and research activities.
  • Cross-Sector Productivity: Shifting industrial demand from traditional hardware to AI-driven solutions, as evidenced by recent consultations with major petrochemical and manufacturing firms.
  • IIID Alignment: Reinforcing AI as a priority sector, consistent with the cabinet-approved framework for the Iran International Innovation District (IIID).
  • Ecosystem Synergy: Fostering direct collaboration between academic institutions, industry leaders, and investors to transition from isolated efforts to a cohesive, knowledge-based economy.

Jabbaripour concluded by inviting AI experts, startups, and stakeholders to propose collaborative projects, emphasizing that the park is prepared to provide the necessary infrastructure and support to accelerate technological development in this critical field.
