The Iran International Innovation District (IIID) Media Center reported on September 2, 2026, that Pardis Technology Park and the Persian Gulf Power Generation Company signed a 15 trillion IRR Memorandum of Understanding at the INOTEX 2026 opening ceremony to localize strategic power sector equipment.

Signed by engineers Dirbaz and Abedinejad from the Persian Gulf Power Generation Company, and engineer Ghodrat Bin from Pardis Technology Park (PTP), the agreement designates PTP as the strategic project leader and facilitator between the industry and domestic tech firms.

Key objectives and mechanisms of this collaboration include:

  • Maximizing Domestic Capacity: Leveraging knowledge-based companies to meet the technological needs of the power industry and develop domestic capabilities in supplying strategic items.
  • Regulatory Support: Utilizing the capacities of Article 13 of the Law on Jumping Knowledge-Based Production to reduce employer risk during the localization process.
  • Legal Frameworks: Benefiting from legal support mechanisms designed to foster knowledge-based production within national industries.
  • Ecosystem Bridging: Strengthening the link between industrial demands and the technological capabilities of the national innovation ecosystem.

Through this partnership, PTP will actively map industrial needs to the technological solutions offered by knowledge-based companies, paving the way for the sustainable domestic manufacturing of critical power generation components.
