A Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) was signed between Shahr Bank and the High Technology Development Fund aiming to increase the level of bilateral cooperation.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, CEO of Shahr Bank Mohammad Mahdi Ahmadi hailed the capacity of Shahr Bank in providing services to knowledge-based companies, saying the law of surge in knowledge-based production paves the way for establishing better cooperation between banks and knowledge-based companies.

Emphasizing great capacities in the field of civil services for the presence of knowledge-based companies, he said this issue is necessary for municipalities and can be achieved in interaction with research and technology funds.

Meanwhile, CEO of High Technology Development Fund Roohollah Mir Amini referred to the potential of this fund in providing all kinds of financial services to the field of knowledge and technology, saying that during the 14 years of activity in the High Technology Development Fund, we have implemented all financial instruments.

Referring to the provision of financial services by the High Technology Development Fund, he said: The reason for the existence of research and technology funds, despite the diversity of banks is their commonality with the field of technology.

Based on the MoC, the High Technology Development Fund will evaluate, introduce, and issue guarantees and other financial instruments that will allow companies to use the facilities of Shahr Bank.

In addition, Shahr Bank will also benefit from the fund's specialized evaluation capacity to provide financial services to its applicant knowledge and technology companies.

This is the 15th memorandum of understanding between banks and the High Technology Development Fund, which aims to increase the provision of financial services to knowledge-based and technological companies and to resolve the banking system concerns in order to provide the resources needed in the technology sector.
