Specialized Mining Techmart Unveiled

The MoU for the establishment of a specialized mining techmart was signed between Iran's National Techmart and Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation (IMIDRO).

Head of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Innovation Center Majid Vafaiefar said that establishing specialized mining techmart will be done on behalf of IMIDRO and is implemented by Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Innovation Center.

The MoU is signed between Mehdi Safarinia, President of Pardis Technology Park and Mohammadreza Mohtaghinia, head of IMIDRO, to help improve the mining industry in Iran, he added.

This memorandum is a link between the mine and the innovation ecosystem of the country, he noted.

As it seems, the MoU can help the traditional sector of the country in the field of mining to communicate with knowledge-based and startup companies and be a great help to solve the problems of the mining industry, he said.

Mining industries can report their problems to these companies and get technological solutions, he stressed.

Meanwhile, Secretary of Iran National Techmart Mohammad Saleh Khaleghi said: Based on the technological needs of the mining sector and the identification of 300 imported goods, a specialized mining market was opened.

Accordingly, we will meet the needs in this field by monitoring the entire country and checking the available capacities and help to invest in the mining field, he added.
